2018 Maverick Twins Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc

Our five beautiful Sommeliers all want to introduce you to this wine - if you look very carefully and have 20/20 vision you may be able to see on this canvas each of the individual letters comprising "MAVERICK".

Tasting Notes

  • Vineyard & Vintage Comments: Vine Vale in the very heart of the Barossa is famous for its sandy soils which produce outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the major component of this blend, from our "Twin" vineyards at Ahrens' Creek and Barossa Ridge. The other three thoroughbreds are Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet FRanc - all noble varieties from the same Twin vineyards. Together they reveal the beauty of the sum of the parts. The result is a wine of great flavour, intensity, vibrant fruit and texture.

Food Pairing
