2017 Maverick TWINS BARREL SELECT GSM (12 bottles minimum)

Our label painting is by Sydney-based artist Charles Billich, one of the art world's living icons and a lover of our like-minded Maverick wines. Our five beautiful Sommeliers all want to introduce you to this wine - if you look very carefully and have 20/20 vision you may be able to see on this canvas each of the individual letters comprising "MAVERICK".

Tasting Notes

  • Vineyard & Vintage Comments: Grenache is the noble variety which dominates this blend. This is from our Twin Grenache vineyards - full-bodies opulent fruit from our ancestor vines at Ahrens' Creek in Vine Vale in the hot dry Barossa Valley, and our equally distinguished understated elegant fruit from our cool climate late ripening Grenache at Pewsey Vale in the high altitude Eden Valley.
